Suit Specialists & Formalwear Shops
Specialist suit retailers and formalwear shops sell to clients who know exactly what they're buying. These clients understand the difference between fused and full canvas. They know their fabric houses. They will ask about Super 130s and horsehair chest pieces. Your manufacturing partner needs to meet that standard every time.
THE CHALLENGE
The challenge for suit specialists is finding a factory that can truly deliver full canvas construction at a price that leaves meaningful margin. While also being flexible enough to handle made-to-order without inventory risk.
THE BUSINESS CASE
What the margin looks like.
Full floating canvas, British merino, cut from one piece.
Those are published prices on other makers’ own self-serve configurators, checked August 2026. We do not set your retail and we do not sell to your customers. What we charge you, what is left after freight, and which houses those figures come from are on the margin table, which asks for an email so we know who is holding our numbers.
HOW WE HELP
Four ways we make your business work.
Genuine full canvas construction
Our full canvas suits feature a complete floating horsehair canvas stitched by hand across the entire jacket front. Not a partial canvas, not a marketing term. The real construction, done properly.
26 mill and merchant accounts, bought direct
We buy from the mill or its own merchant, with no trading company in between. Vitale Barberis Canonico and Zegna are held in our Shanghai warehouse and can be cut the week you order; the other houses in our supplier directory are ordered in against a confirmed order. Ask which applies to a given cloth before you promise your client a date, and we will tell you.
10+ master tailors with 25+ years experience
Every full canvas suit passes through our master tailor team. This is not a production line. These are craftspeople who have spent their careers doing one thing exceptionally well.
Drape and heritage collections for luxury positioning
The Drape collection at 440g and our 360g British merino are the two heaviest cloths we keep, which is what premium formalwear needs. That specification retails between $923 and $2,145 elsewhere quality.
